MOTHER VARIATIONS

Sara, Kristine, Ingrid and Marianne are all becoming a mother for the first time.

We meet them as pregnant and follow them for ten years. Also their mothers show up, but also grandmothers, friends, boyfriends and aunts. They all live in a town where everyone knows each other, leading to both planned and impulsive encounters.

With humor and regret, the play is looking at the happy and unhappy conditions in four different ways. Put together with new music and songs, a lot of knitting and many prams on stage
